| Kids Crochet Plus+ | REGISTER |
A new class for kids who have taken the beginner Kids Crochet class and want to learn more! Students will learn how to read a pattern to construct a hat. The first session students will read the pattern and get started. The second session will be to finish off the project. (2 session class)

| Matinee at the Rec - 2025 Winter | REGISTER |
January 19th is National Popcorn Day, and to celebrate we are excited to host our first Matinee at the Rec! We will be playing Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey (1993, G) "Three pets (Chance, a young dog unfamiliar with the world; Shadow, an aging, wise dog; and Sassy, a snobby cat) are left behind when their owners go on vacation. Unsure of what happened, they set out on a quest to find their owners. This journey across America is very dangerous and they risk never seeing their owners again. They travel across forested mountains and areas of wide-open countryside, while their owners search for them in the same areas." Will Chance, Shadow, and Sassy make it home to their beloved owners? Join us for this fun afternoon and find out! Popcorn included, of course! | Pickleball Workshop for New Players and Beginners - 2024 Winter | REGISTER |
Have you seen all the Pickleball activity at Tonganoxie Recreation and want to give it a try? Are you interested in Pickleball, but nervous about getting started? Don't let your nerves stop you from joining this nationally trending sport! We will be hosting a FREE Pickleball Workshop at the Rec Center for you to learn the rules of the game and pick up on techniques that you can practice and improve for competitive play. | Coach J's Basketball Clinic | REGISTER |
Coach J's Basketball Clinic will be held after school at the Tonganoxie Elementary School in the small gym. This will begin right after school and will conclude each day at 4:30pm. We will conclude at 3:30pm on Wednesday. Participants will learn skills related to basketball from Tonganoxie's favorite coach, Coach J. We are ONLY doing Kindergarten this year, as 1st and 2nd grade will have their own Youth Basketball program that will occur on Saturday mornings.
