Youth Basketball

We offer separate leagues for boys and girls. Teams will practice 1 time per week for 1 hour and will play a 7 game schedule. Games will be played on Saturday mornings and a couple Monday evenings in November/December. Leagues will be completed before or at the start of Winter Break.

Participants will be divided up into small teams and will be coached by volunteer coaches. Teams will practice either during the week or on Saturday mornings at the TRC gym. Teams will spend the first 30 min of each Saturday morning practicing with their team, before a 30 min scrimmage vs. another team. Teams will practice during the week for the first couple weeks before games start, then practices will be moved strictly to Saturday mornings before scrimmages. Teams will meet on Saturday mornings at either 9am, 10am, or 11am for 1 hour. The program will end before Christmas Break.

Coach J's Basketball Clinic will be held after school at the Tonganoxie Elementary School in the small gym. This basketball clinic will begin right after school and will conclude each day at 4:30pm. Each age group will meet M/T/Thur for their designated week corresponding to their grade level. We will NOT meet on Wednesdays. This clinic is for Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade. Participants will learn skills related to basketball from the help of Tonganoxie's favorite coach, Coach J. 

Kindergarten: January 11th, January 12th, January 14th

1st Grade: January 25th, January 26th, January 28th

2nd Grade: February 1st, February 2nd, January 4th

Fee: $20/$30 (District/Non-District)
